Well I got anxious and decided what the hell.... I signed back up for Jumpgate last night. I spend about 3hours trying to get rid of my freggin pirate tag though! It seems I went on a killing spree before quiting lol!!! Damn Otc PR was low so I was labeled a pirate. Of course this put a huge bounty on my head (1.1 mil). Just curious, but what determines the size of your bounty?

Algore, given the fact that I dont even recall who the heck you are, I doubt highly you remember me. Unless you can remember 5 years go that is and I didnt really have many enemies, especially Sol. If I recall correctly I ripped a civ during a RP event... So calling me an idiot I really dont think was necessary.

Al is from the EU server so you probably don't know him. With todays rules I don't think anyone would have had to been an idiot on a kill spree to come back and find what you did. He probably thought you were serious in your first post. Don't worry, be happy.

I have a thing about peeps knowing that they are leaving so they go on a "killing spree". It doesn't seem from what you say that this is the case.

yeah there was no such thing as pirates etc when I quit. Back then it was really no big deal to have neg pol rating if it wasnt your own faction. It certainly didnt make you free to be attacked by fellow Sols. For the most part I tried to keep a good Pol rating but it seems that I said "f-it" before I quit thinking it wouldnt matter anyway. Anyhoo, im back in pos so now I just gotta get some pilot skills back lol. Man I SUCK now lol!

the current bounty rules and tag system are really insane. i hope you dont go broke and quit, as many people did when they came back and discovered they had these insane bounties that come out of their own pocket, and then discover that you only get 1pr point per mission to work them off.

Yeah, I had like 93M in the bank when I logged in which was nice. I couldnt remember if I offloaded all my cash to remaining squad members or not. Apparently I didnt .

Fortunately I got ripped once, Heck I didnt even try fighting as my ship wasnt configed right and I was SUPER rusty. I was able to build back from -14 PR pretty quickly killing flux while doing a couple missions. Wasnt too bad actually.
