Though there is very little or no hope with getting hundreds of people coming ack from Jumpgate and Aubrey and other players(like Ixholla) who got banned for stupid reasons to get unbanned from Jumpgate.

Though I hardly ever play this game but at least I will keep one account alive to see whats going on.

I like this game a lot but my main problem is low online players which I have done a ton of attempts to get a lot of players back online years back and no luck.

Currently what I am doing right now is writing some random programs(not a game) and building and skinning 3D static models(for a game called Vegastrike) from scratch just for fun. Right now I am working on a sophisticated but yet customizable Random Name Generator program.

I'll come back and play a little if there is another patch for Jumpgate.

p.s. I just bought a Cyborg EVO but I don't plan on playing Jumpgate with it but for future flight games I either create or discover.

Well, hate to say it, but at this point Jumpgate is better off without JGW. I just go there to stay in touch with some folks who don't venture elsewhere.

I was going there mostly to stay in touch with people I met through Jumpgate. But most of those people have moved on to other forums, as have I. Just in the last 2-3 weeks that place has become a ghost forum. And like Ambro said, it's probably better for Jumpgate that it be so.

What I find weird (and sad, sort of) is that I'm playing WoW with about 20 ex-Jumpgate'ers, and not one of them ever brings up JumpGate or "The Good 'ol Days". There's 20 or so ex-Jumpgate'ers that play AH with Synergy, and it's the same story there as well. I never imagined that myself, or some of the people I play with, would completely put JumpGate behind us. All good things, I guess.

Which is why people like myself still come here, dispite no lingering connection to JumpGate or AH. It's a good site, kept mostly clean and on topic. Plus, with all those smiley's available, how could anyone NOT want to come here?

PS: I'm starting my own web site with the help of my brother (who's much MUCH more up on this stuff), but I'd like to know where/how you got all those smiley's. Please?

yea i thought of posting on jgw but after reading some threads thought better of it, i just want to keep in touch with the people i met playing, even tho i dont play anymore(but you never know with me)

I love Jumpgate. You know the rest. I am having a ball in AH2 I am flying with Synergy guys and OEC guys and a few others. We do talk about Jumpgate all the time. I think though that in AH2 you get so into what you are doing that you don,t have time to talk a lot about other stuff. That game takes a lot of comm about what you are all doing at that moment.

Misku, JITW and some other Jumpgate stragglers are playing as Horde on Gorgonash (sp?). Synergy plays as Alliance on Nathrezim, and were going to try out a Horde chapter as well, but don't know what happened to that.
