Well, someone mentioned somewhere that people would be willing to do themis's job for pennies (so as it's not volunteer). I recon if you had a petition from enough people that said they weren't playing solely because of themis, and would pay to play if Themis was replaced ...... If there were enough names on that petition it would eventually become profitable to replace Themis.

Nah, I stood up for decency and Themis decided to boot me from the EP's in a rude and disgusting manor. Then certain peeps took to complaining on JOSSH about the way it was done and the next thing I know my account is TRI class and my password is changed on the forums. Call it what you want. It's old news. Still, a good comparison of things as they seem to never change.

Funny thing was, a year later they started screaming the same things about the condition of the forums (as I had) and kicked everyone off. The irony of it all brings joy to my soul.

I wish themis group could of stop being the big brother of Jumpgate and ban people from something they say on third party communication forums(like IRC and JGW).

It's just simply hurting the older audiences.

But its sad that themis basis their judgement on 3rd party websites, in this case. Funcom, makes and runs Anarchy online, always says they are not responsible for the content on 3rd party websites. Which should translate to they shouldnt really care what is said there because its not their responsibility.

Well, It is obviously because it was directed at one of their own. And folks tend to protect their own. Just like folks in the Jumpgate community want to stick by Aubrey. It's a natural thing that occurs on our little planet. There is usually a happy median if anyone chooses to find it.

In the case of Themis, they are never interested in mutual ground. It's their way or the highway. Someday, they will end up with the fruits of their efforts.

Yes, I do love Jumpgate. But at this point I'm way over the line where is it even fun to play it. I just wonder how many more sitiuation like this Jumpgate community will face.

this is a returning player here but not quite satasfied with the people who are running jumpgate.

i find that speculating on the rumors of 3rd-hand information leads to ridiculous conclusions.
