Last night I had a dream. I dreamt that an update had finally happened and it was enormous and incredible, as large and as impressive as the long wait we've had for it. There were new ships and entirely new professions; the entire game was revitalized. The spacestation interface was new, all the equipment was revamped and made decent options, you could upgrade and further tweak your ship. Engines, guns and ship parts would even show up externally. It was like Armored Core in space.

In my dream, millions joined from all directions. The game was stuffed to the gills. This is the part I remember most distinctly: I could aim my InSights in any direction and hit multiple people. There were just that many playing. I had just re-activated and launched, and every reg-space sector had ten to twenty people in it at least. Gates never stopped lighting up with jumps. There was traffic between gates.

I just remember how BUSY everything was. In jest, I fired my InSights at a few people as we flew past, taking maybe a cargo each. Actually I don't even remember stealing anything; it wasn't important in the context of the dream. Sometimes I hit fighters. It was impossible to keep track of anything; people weren't even sure who was hitting them or why.

...where is the update? Why is it taking so long..? No one really stops thinking about Jumpgate, we just can't wait forever for nothing...

I dont think ne1 knows and if any did they are probably locked behind a nda so that they cant. But 'they' said to keep the faith and no one can deny that collectively we have/are/will do.

I've decided to reactivate. I figure that I can't cause hundreds of new pilots to join the server, but I can ensure that this one pilot does endure.
