You'll also see how I screwed up the graphics because my old crappy video card didn't show a lot of things. Sometimes upgrading can be a real pain.

Okay, for a real tip: Unless you have your own POS with an Ore Silo, your next best bet is to haul the ore to either a Faction Depot (take a mining mission there and then sell the ore to the station, buy back what you want and leave), OR take your unrefined ore to a neutral station (EE, LL or Klatches) and sell it to the station, then buy back the commodities you want. Taking a mining mission or selling ore to a Faction Station means some or all of the mining produced commodities may be sucked up by station production (thus why the Depot or Neutral/Unreg Station sales. They produce nothing so they USE nothing ... other than possibly water... from the mined ore). I'm not positive you can use a Ore Silo (refine ore) on a POS that's not your own because I've never tried. Can anyone else help on this point? |

It appears that useing the Depos are the best way to go. As mentioned they don't munch the comods your wanting to produce. Also you get extra money and EXP by doing the mineing missions.
I was a bit disapointed that after 6 hours of mineing 250 semifluxors I only got a meesly 75 silicone out of it. Totaly not worth the time IMHO. |

Certainly challenging to do production work from the ground up!
Hauling stuff from A to B to produce X isn't too bad. Mining for six hours to only get 75 units is not fun, no matter how much experience or credits you get for it. If you're trying to produce something that requires that much silicone it just plain sucks! |
