I know quite a few players who left Jumpgate not because they were unsatisfied with the econ, or driven away by "griefers", but simply because of the lack of "RP" as we knew and loved (or sometimes hated) from EU.

Wonders which one you where, as for the RP i loved most of them hated the last one for Oct ( it went on a bit too long ) i think its more about havening a reason to log on and have some fun, something to read about in the forums, something to get your teeth into. something to make you feel that what your doing is worth while, something to hell i could go on but you see my point.

Jumpgate is missing something a real big thing that it would seem that the rose tinted brigade have/are overlooking.

If I had the time, I'd help, but job, EVE, and my Ironclaw group are such is just taking too much of my time anymore to hardly PLAY Jumpgate enough, much less participate in a group to replace ailing Themis.

Sent pilots, anyhow, are fairly easy to get... pluck up a few decent pilots that are trustworthy and venerable members of the community, have them sign an electronic NDA, and plop them into a flux ship of appropriate strength. Also be sure to pat them on the head and ensure they aren't invincibly harsh on their new "enemies" unless its meant to be that way.

yes the RP has dissapeared, even with GMK he tried his best to do some rp but was only working i think like 10hrs a week or something like that. He was a part time GM. Unfortunately it seems now we have an "imagineary" GM. No Trinn statements, its pretty weak. All this new content is great and all, but since jumpgate to me at the moment is just a playground for fighting, without any rp at all the new patch has just made it harder to do what i want to do. Yeah there might be a few more HGs/mil pilots but thiers less overall fighting.

The best times i had in Jumpgate were during events, from all the cool beta events, witch most were OOC, but there were races, tournaments, fight nights, atleast once a week........even when GMK was here there was WOW, the injustice episode, witch most don't realize it was 4-5 nights of RP, although unfortunately GMK was only available late US times. The cool part of RP was the player actually feels in control of there enviroment, according to GMK if we were able to destroy productions at all oct stations the IJs would be gone for good. Its things like that that make Jumpgate fun for me, i always enjoy fighting but recently it hasn't been fun, i wish there was some RP to mix it up.
