Why is it people have started calling Jumpagte, Jumpgate classic? Its called Jumpgate ™ , no where is it called Jumpagte classic, the new game is called Jumpgate Evolution the old game or the current game we are playing its not a old game yet as the new one isn’t out yet, is called JUMPGATE, not Jumpgate Classic or any other name, sorry had to get a pet hate out, right now for the next one, calling players who have just returned from years away Vets…………………….ill stop there.

Technically it's called Jumpgate TRI. But I think many have seen the interviews where the people working on the dev team have referred to it as Jumpgate Classic so they can distinguish it among themselves.

It's rather silly for the players to try an emulate this but nevertheless, people seem ok with throwing out the historical reference to be in with the "in crowd".

We call in classic internally, nothing official just that's what we call it.

I never went there. but ...A veteran is one who has served in the armed forces and has an honorable discharge; a common misconception is that one had to have either been in combat and/or has retired from active duty to be called a veteran.

Jumpgate Classic is what NetDevil calls it. For purposes of common understanding, it's easiest for everyone to use the same term they do. No need for deep analysis of naming conventions and word meanings.
