Jossh down... but Jumpgate still works!

Just wanted to make a blunt post that Jumpgate still works

For those of you who still luff the game and can't connect do to the updater being down....

Access Jumpgate through clicking on the offline sim icon... it avoids the updater and will get you in game.

For those of you who now hate Jumpgate and quit because of the Aubrey situation........ you're not hurting anyone but those that still love the game and enjoy flying with you. Many of us are still making memories in this game and it sux that you won't be a part of it

P.S. It's a hardware break that's keeping Jossh down... the part won't be in until Monday A.M. in which case Jossh will be back up.

Oh... one more thing... pm me if you need the 100 patch and i'll e-mail it to ya.... it's easy to self install.... just go to the netdevil/jumpgate folder and click on patchdos ... then type 1.0100 in the dos prompt... hit enter and your golden

... and if for some reason you did not keep your "Offline" Icon, all you need to do is go to your jumpgate directory and start the game from Jumpgate.exe.

(NOTE: if you have not played since the new patch last week -- 1.0100 -- you will not be able to play until the hardware is fixed and the updater is working).

will e-mailing the patch work? .... i always install my own patches 'cuz i'm an idiot and have my offline sim mode icon on the desktop so the updater never works

which means... if it'll work to e-mail the patch you should be able to make Jumpgate work by installing the patch yourself through the patchdos

It's been updated from
REPAIR status
to
PACK status
as of yesterday. I'm guessing that means they MIGHT ship it to me Monday, so I could be back up as soon as Wednesday

Bah my roomie deleted some stuff on this comp. including Jumpgate. I redownloaded the 1.0095 version and have it installed but no patches of course.
