JPR Banner Exchange Program
Hi Folks,
A few weeks ago we hired a highly skilled team of monkeys to revamp some of JPR's internal systems. Unfortunately, all they did was play cards, drink beer, and eat all our nachos during their week at the station. So in lieue of that, we kicking off the JPR Banner Campaign(tm) We have a half dozen or so banners available, and pending bouts of insomnia more may be made available later on. All our banners should either point to http://www.jumpgatepirateradio.com (or) http://requests.jumpgatepirateradio.com![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Goals The goal of the banner campaign is two fold. Primarily, we want to see our banners carried by all currently active Jumpgate squad and fan sites. JPR gets 2-3 sign-ups every odd day. Our traffic levels remain fairly high... This summer we peaked at about 13K hits per month. This fall we're averaging between 5000-6000 hits per month. These are not forum hits. This is simply the result of people loitering on the site. I don't know what they're doing. Maybe they're staring at the half naked robot on the front page. Maybe they're using the tune-in function to listen to the station. The point is, our traffic can be your traffic. Our secondary goal is that we want your banner on our site. Cross traffic between community sites is good for the Jumpgate community. Need help? If you need assistance in creating a banner for your site or community, just post your request in our lobby. If you're not sure how to integrate a banner into your fan or squad site, you can also request assistance here at JPR. I would also encourage community members to host each others banners. Anything designed by our team of highly skilled monkeys will be publicly available in the lobby for download. Epilogue This is a free exchange. No strings. No ties. No staples. No pantyhose. No saran wrap (well... maybe some saran wrap). And the best part-- you'll get more attention from our flashy advertising. You'll be the envy of all your friends. Women will find you more attractive. Total strangers will buy you drinks at the bar. It's a win/win situation. Listen, or die! JPR Management and Staff |

My intarweb is fubared, but if this posts-- this is for you Vorlon31. I got inspired.
![]() ![]() I used a screenshot I took doing a recon mission... my job at the time was to fly into a swarm and take close up pics. This is one of many... never released before as they were classified. I have others where I actually flew along-side the swarm, in their formation. That was a trick and a half, I'll tell ya! And yes... that's a ranger, armed with two nukes. I was in conflux space... I liked to be prepared. ![]() |

I've made a few more community banners, so feel free to stick them on your sites-- the more promotion Jumpgate fan sites get, the better. Especially with all the misc. traffic coming our way.
Eternal Legacy ![]() Pilotstats.net ![]() Note: Duodecimal specifically asked me not to create one for pilotstats, but... I couldn't help myself. Sorry. ![]() New Dawn ![]() I like this one. Very fiery. I like fire. I'm still trying to think of something for joystickrequired... these things just come to me. Soon (tm). Oh, also-- if you're gonig to add these to your web sites, please download and host directly-- JPR has enough challenges in the bandwidth department. ![]() |

In that case... did you know that all the site content is about 800 HTML docs in a SINGLE DIRECTORY?
Most of the time spent logging onto the ftp server is spent waiting for the file list to display. So, in short, pilotstats.net is ugly down to the bone. I'd recode it, but when I start planning it I start thinking self-immolation looks like an attractive hobby. |

I could just toy with the css file. Code:
BODY
{
font-size: 9pt;
font-family: Tahoma, Helvetica, sans-serif;
color: DarkSlateGray;
background-color: DarkKhaki;
}
TD
{
font-size: 9pt;
}
