The sole surviving member of JPR's first generation of DJ, he will grace the virtual air-waves one last time as a farewell to all of TRI space. It is with heavy heart that this show is announced, and the station will never be the same without Ol' Yote, but, well, he is now and forever, The Man, and you are hereby put on notice; tune in and listen, or we will hate you for all of eternity with a passionate loathing of a degree never before witnessed in this universe, such that the very skies shall open up and spew forth ravens and frogs and javelins and thermonuclear devices in expression of sympathetic resonance with the spiteful disgust we direct towards you.

  SHOW DESCRIPTION: He won't have it easy, following in his Craziness's footsteps, or paw-prints or whatever the hell marks-of-passing Coyote leaves behind him (other than the smell, of course), but he will try. Features of this show will include music, sarcasm, and... well, that's probably about it, but rest assured, the sarcasm will be brilliant, and the music more-so. Tune in, or we'll do something to you that's not nearly as serious as if you miss Friday's show, but still rather unpleasant nonetheless.
  
  Hey, this looks easy I can do it. Mmmm, mm, press the button, pull the lever, turn the knob, plug in the AAAIIIEEEE! -Romulus, discovering that at JPR, microphone jacks are wired for 10kV DC, for hoots.
  

NEWS

• NEW: New and improved... it's JPR's staff. We are pleased, despite this week's bad news, to announce that The Hunter has been promoted to full DJ status with JPR. So gather up your tomatoes and other fruit, and throw them his way. Look forward to hearing his dulcet tones soon (tm).
  
• NEW: JPR is inviting submissions of materials. If you or your squad want to submit an advertisement or ten, feel free. Details regarding length, format and guidelines will be posted to the JPR forums as soon as I get around to it (likely this weekend). We are seeking ads for products, organizations or individuals. As well, creative content is welcome, as long as it's Jumpgate-centric. JPR does not guarantee the use of all submitted materials, and we reserve the right to reject any material we deem unusable, but in general, we will be pleased to instead offer constructive input to get your content used.
  
• JPR is proud to announce the availability of round-the-clock audio goodness. DJ rt-mus has implimented an interim server to allow us to fill your heads with our propaganda at all times. Expect service upgrades and additional content, both in music variety, commercial content, and listener ability. Down the road we hope to have archival live shows available as well as other special content. For the time being, visit request.jumpgatepirateradio.co m to twiddle the knobs.
  
• JPR is still recruiting for DJ positions. Anyone who wants to make fun of others on-air are invited to visit our forums at www.jumpgatepirateradio.com All you need is reasonable upchannel bandwidth, some songs, and working vocal chords.
  
• Broadcasting is going to use the MP3Pro format. All players capable of decoding mp3 will be able to listen to this format. However, installing an MP3Pro decoder will allow better quality sound over lower bandwidth streams. JPR may experiment with streamrates over the next few broadcasts, but installing the MP3Pro plugin for WinAmp (link at bottom of CONNECTION INFO segment) should be harmless, and will result in a better listening experience.
