So this is basically a ripoff of CM Jumpgate Evolution community chitchat thread. but much better..

Cause here we speak Jumpgate Classic.

Community was and still is the most important content in Jumpgate Classic. We all know that the game is dying.. the devs dont care. But I do, and maybe others aswell. There are 1000s of Jumpgate Classic fans out there and 99% of them will say its the best mmo they ever played. In order to keep the best memories of Jumpgate Classic alive, I will try to ask some questions that will bring back those dear memories. For those that were and still are drunk doing their Jumpgate Classic play time and cant remember shit. well.. might i say.. u just wasted many years of your life.

Anyways, to the questions.

Who was your first kill?

Some guy that civripped me.. I relaunched and got his bounty.. he was oct as me. german type.. bah.. And he then cried later that I flew civ when i killed him.

What was your first squad?

Messengers.. half US/EU people squad on Eu server, we did it all and belonged to no faction.

How many times did you do Emma?

4 times... and once after they moved her.

First Kill: Prophet, Quant, bountied. He was running from a posse; armored and I flung a Purg up his tail pipe.

First Squad: also ONLY squad OAS

How many times did you do Emma. Once. Same for that darned roid in Callows Passage and that other one out the backdoor of Aman. How many times do you have to hit something before you realize it's there?

First Kill: Some Sol Navy nub while I was patheticly attempting to defend OP from the nightly raids

First Squad: OSP, god I was such a sucker back then

Emma: She got me twice, once loaded

First kill: Don't remember name but it was a HG vader. He/she was unlucky to get into 2vs1.

First squad: DDZ. Most memorable time was defending our little convoy from -DSA-. Of course we did lose, but with class.

Emma: Don't remember if I did. Most likely, at least once.

First Kill: way too long ago to remember. I remember my first real PvP engagement was down in Hyp space where someone was flipping beacs I had just gotten done tuning. I think I was in a Gust -- I think he was an Oct in some smallish ship. I had him armored and he ran away. The first actual kill was another Oct, up on Gurge or Oct Shore. Again it was long before I had a Phoon and before the Pest existed -- so I was probably in a Clone. The Oct had been shooting at a Quant civ in the vicinity and I went to defend.

First Squad: In Beta I was in Stellar Guard -- which was a multifactional iteration of Solrain Guard (which later came back after release). Late in Beta I formed The Brotherhood.

Emma Encounters: I would say at least 5 or 6. I'm slow that way. I always felt the Emma graphic should have ship parts strewn across the surface of the roid.

AOD--Army of Darkness or some shit like that in v v early beta.

First Kill

Some random dude in Q Gate. I was about level 2 and the target was about level 4. I chased the little fucker all round space until I finally got the kill. Also happened to be my first civ rip and bounty. Having had a severe hard on chasing him all round space I didn't relaise we had ventured out of unreg before I landed the final blow.
I didn't really have a clue what was going on. To this day still only 1 of 5 civ rips in over 3000 kills. Not many that can boast about being that much of a carebear PvP'er.

Hits on Emma

I guess about 3. My main roid problem was Callows Passage in Quant Space. I twacked that badboy at least 10 times. Many of them being coming back from looking at my map, thus just giving me enough time to hit a ff and spash at 1000v instead
