i wanted to know if u can use a joystick and if u can how

Jump

You can absolutely use a joystick. You have full control of your ship in Jumpgate and soon Jumpgate Evolution. This is no fly by rail point and click. You must pilot and maneuver your ship to where it needs to go or in battle.

Sure you can fly with a mouse. I fly with a cat, usually, so that could get interesting. Sometimes I use a snake as well.

Joystick - no problems there.

How? Go to "options" and there's little left/right arrows on the top portion that allow you to change your kb/mouse/joystick combination on the fly. Be careful, though, as doing so clears all the settings you've set up to that point (AFAIK) and you'll need to reset them.
