I'm back for two reasons.
One-The game is the greatest space sim I've ever played.
Two-The community is the most engaging I've ever listened to.

With the upcomming re-write, I knew it my heart of hearts that it would happen, ND is doing its part to elevate the game to new levels of success.

It will remain the duty of the community to provide a network of friends and advesaries worthy of the Jumpgate name.

I'm back too. Most of you won't know me, I've never played on former US-Server and stopped playing after EU-Server was shut down. But to support ND with Jumpgate Evolution and because I neeeeeeded to play Jumpgate again, I'm back

I have not found anything out there that held my attention the way Jumpgate did.

I only left because my PC literaly blew up. Video card had a black hole, the traces from the vid slot to the CPU were burnt and the CPU itself had a burnt hole and its socket was melted. That smell lasted for months.

When I tried comeing back 4 months later I couldn't reactivate even though I had the CD key. Once I got to talk to a human I was told I was useing a copywrighted name and they wouldn't allow me to reactivate the account. Welp that left a bitter taste. Oh well on to Jump to Light Speed. That lasted untill SOE decided to botch the game to uber unplayability. They never did fix any of the bugs in JTLS only made more.

Tryed getting back in Jumpgate (still addicted to space sims) but found out the throttle wouldn't work with X52. Finally 2-3 years later I find out The throttle now works. Try getting back in but now G wont run under Vista. GAAAA. OK got a 2nd HD installed XP and hear I am back in the saddle.

No other game has been deserving of such efforts.

WTF happened guys ?.

Loads of people reactivate go on about how much they love playing Jumpgate, play for a few hours then stop logging on.

I dont call that love I call it abuse.
