JumpGate Server relocation?

After hearing all the grumbling about an increase in disconnects, I was wondering if perhaps the JumpGate server was finally relocated (as eluded to here), and that maybe the new server is part of the problem. Anyone have any insight on this?

PS: Ambro, I no longer have access to Brotherhood Command Staff forums. Please *cough* fix that...

I believe all of the discos are FF-related. These have nothing to do with the server (which has not been relocated).

I wish they did it already. Maybe that would fix my lag problem.

They had the same problem with disconnects on EU, so it's not server placement related. I'd say It's definitely related to server load. On EU, with more numbers, discos were a daily occurance, while on US got off scott-free. But once US got loaded up again with the influx of EU guys, well, it started here too.

It's probably related to Istvan's changes to the netcode a little while back (something about how the server handles FFs, etc.)
