The longest running Jumpgate Radio station has decided to shutdown. It has been fun but I have not spent the effort to work it like I originallly planned to in the last 8 or some months. Also, with me quitting my RL DJing I can't justify asking the wife to pay for the project that I am not actively working at.

It was fun and I appreciate everyone who did stop by and listen. Jump and Wink you were my die hard supporters and I appreciated your support.

Live365 could have been better without thier requirement to log in,popups and advertisements but for the money it cost I guess I had to pay for other little nuggets that they give me.

Jump I know you don't stop by your old haunt but could you remove all -=MACK=- radio options from the Station at your earliest convience?

LOL Yea I always said I was going to close but I never actually completed the process. I actually sent in the Cancelation request to Live 365 this time. LOL

Sorry to hear this Rom. But I hope you'll redirect your talents to JPR to continue the "legacy". You should DJ a "MACK Radio on JPR" show every week or so -- maybe even tailor it to haulers with a sprinkling of "truckin' songs" as well as "hot run" news segments . . . maybe even sponsor some heavy-haul races (and perhaps make them "useful hauls" as well).

Great idea. Though I have asked for the lowest paid position over there as a Producer for Coyote to get started. I like his style and I think I could add to what he produces.

I took care of this in the database. Wasn't easy but I avoided going there.

The whole thing is coming down in March anyway.
