Making space more dangerous

I've read the amusement and disillusioned forum on jossh recently and am a bit amused and bewildered by the current silly idea for the month.
Just out of interest, in the last 6 months how many people have been "civ-riped", "griefed", "bullied", or had anything bad aside from dumping happen to them by another pilot in real space?

Regards
Al

civ-riped? lol.

In the end, it really doesn't matter how recently the civ-rippers, bullies, and harassers have been active. What matters is that half of the ships in the game are incapable of running, fighting back, or surviving one of these people. If NetDevil wants space to be dangerous, then ALL ships should be designed to exist in a dangerous environment.

Pretty simple question GG. One which you have failed to answer.
Obviously I have a point to make, and a reason for making it. You remind me of kids at school doing exams unable to answer the question being asked. So, instead you produce an answer to the question you hoped that had been asked in order to show a level of knowledge, however irrelevant to the topic.

Well, balrog and B&C have been fairly inactive for the past 6 months, but Clyde just came back so give it a couple of weeks.

I was acknowledging your point, that nothing has been going on for awhile now. But just because these types run off their victims and have to wait for online numbers to crawl back to an acceptable level before they try to run more people off doesn't mean that there actions aren't a problem just because they haven't been active recently.

OK, lets cast things a bit wider.
Name any pilot you know of that has been civripped etc in the last year.
Especially for GG, a year is 12 months long, each month comprises of a number of days, made up of hours and minutes. Added together in the correct format they produce a year, or to simplify things for GG, a longer period of time than 6 months.
You got an F for your last response btw.

Al

Someone once said "civripping is half of the game". Now we got no civripping at all because civripps dont count in the kill stats anymore....and we got less online numbers....and we got less PVP at all...

Back to topic: Do you want to make space more dangerous? Do it.

If you want space more dangerous on the whole, move all CP's to unreg, that at least would make freelance production dangerous and reliant on escorts.

Then if you really want space more dangerous, do some military missions that take you into enemy territory and do them without taking along the rest of your squad.

Do you want space more dangerous or just more mechanisms to allow for fights.

Fly solo and space is dangerous, fly with 4/5 expert pvp wingmen and space is a stroll in the park where ever you go.

Space is not dangerous now because noone is making it dangerous.
Since the start of this thread there have been a couple of random 2nd account pirates that have been about, funny that.
No one is making space dangerous now because all the knowitallknownothing people scream and shout and call for bans if they are active.
That leaves us with as consentual as you can get pvp, consentual interaction. This game is not about consentual interaction, it's about interaction and consequence. The problem lies with those taking part in interaction being responsable.
Space isn't dangerous, it's individuals that are dangerous.

Until they redesign non-combat ships to be able to properly interact with fighters (i.e. run and sometimes live, fight and sometimes live, or survive until help arrives) all non-consentual interaction with fighters and non-combat ships will do nothing more than convince non-combat pilots to find another game.
