Thats the thing with expectations.
If I dont show my cats the tin of food im about to give them, I'm sure they expect their getting salmon. If someone doesnt tell you the film is crap, you expect it to be good. If no-one tells you what to expect, what you get always falls short. The answer to not meeting expectations is communicating what is to come, that way no ones imagination runs away with them. Its a simple lesson that should of been learned by ND with the EP2 creation. They never said how what was coming was going to be done, so people expected too much and many were disillusioned with the results. Communications is the key to happy customers. The question is, has ND learned that? |

Why Amazing Ambro? Go look at the suggestion part of the forum, it has almost as many posts as the IC/OOC plot discusion part, for a reason too.
Sure, no one is going to turn down better graphics, but Jumpgate is an old bird now and as much as we love her, a spadefull of fresh make-up and an internet degree for her ai IS going to be good, but with all the things removed from her lately, she needs stuffing with some content too (like better mission structures, meaningful fm's, swarm purposes, squad tools, pvp/pve graduation (a new fav term, ty ss), team missions etc.) |

Im quite sure the toy company is matel and ND is making Barbie Online.
The upgrade to Jumpgate sounds interesting and I actually wouldnt mind playing Jumpgate again if it got an overhaul in graphics, ai and gameplay. My quess is the fact that the two new projects are in ramp up phase and AA is in ramp down phase ND has devs and artists on the bench for some time. Good time to do something usefull and upgrade Jumpgate. Tex |

1) The game is being designed for kids.
2) Crafting is to be a feature of the game 3) Player-generated content is to be a feature of the game 4) RATHA Many are guessing it's LEGO. Seems like a likely candidate, only I'm not sure LEGO would put their name in the hands of a company with no real market success. Then again LEGO isn't exactly rolling in cash, so their choices for a developer may be limited. |
