Need help with X52 Throttle Problem

Okay, I've googled the hell outta this, and am still stuck as all the pages with solutions on Mightygames no longer exist, and solutions found elsewhere didn't work.

Problem: After correctly installing the x52, Jumpgate auto-assigns throttle control to the precision slider instead of the throttle unit.

Solutions Attempted:
1. I have uninstalled, reinstalled the x52 set.
2. I have reloaded the drivers for the x52 set.
3. I have deleted the joystick, mouse and keyboard data files from the Jumpgate folder and tried remapping throttle function inside the Jumpgate Control Menu.
4. I have tried remapping throttle function to other keys, and then back to the Throttle.
5. Using the x52 software I have changed all other functions to 'band' mode leaving ONLY the X,Y, and Z axis open. This still did not force throttle recognition to the throttle unit.
6. I tripple checked the newly created profile to ensure it was setup correctly, and active before launching Jumpgate.

Things that ALMOST worked:
1. I remapped throttle UP and down to Z axis. Then remapped throttle UP to another joystick button. This for SOME reason gave me throttle control through the Throttle unit. HOWEVER, From 0-50% physical throttle movement, I get no response in the game. And from 50-100% physical movement on the Throttle the game derives it's 0-100% throttle speed. So, that ain't gunna hold water. *sigh*

I'd be very grateful for any suggestions at this point.

Your local turban waggling greenie,

Thrawn

P.S. Sorry about the other post, this was meant to be it's own thread. >_<

Yes. For the moment I've given in and used the "almost fix". It let's the throttle control speed, however, my throttle physically is at the mid point before the game even notices input. The game condences 1-100% in the last 50% of the physical slide. Very annoying.

YEah jumpgate doesn't like to recongize the throttle. Just keep mapping throttle keys to + and - then save, fly, Now change them to the axis of the throttle, it took me a couple of tries to get it to work.
