How does everyone think this will affect the game? Is it too much to hope for to think that if say ND and Eternal Legacy or whoever, kick enough of these things butts that flux won't spawn in realspace for awhile? Experience is telling me these are gonna be something fun to play with, but ultimately you won't be doing the rest of the players any good by killing them. I hope experience is wrong.

Hopefully it's part of the "fluxers clearing space lanes for an actual period of time" thingy.

They look better in person. For the record, I was unable to extract any biomass from one.

They make avoiding swarms exciting, to say the least.

Ive found the best way to get rid of these *Eruptions* is send in a Nuke, but have found that some take more.
It is also worth pointing out that some of them are right on top of the gates.
Which can lead to some *OMG WHERE IS MY FF KEY*

Based on a comment made by McPlowed, the longer an Eruption exists, the stronger it gets (and thence the more nukes required). I haven't heard anything regarding the ability to harvest biomass from one. Should be able to, that way they could at least pay back a little of their cost for destruction. Then again, THAT may be their purpose, yet another "money sink" for the mythological "old farm money". Pfffft!
