I got bored and whiped up some new forum icons for the Jumpgate forums. The look kind of jumpgatish now.

That would be the icons next to the forums on the main Jumpgate forum home. I haven't thought of anything to do with the thread icons yet.

Well it took me like a week but I finally figured out what you were talking about. They look good. I never see the forum pages since I just check the new posts page all the time. I rarely have anything useful to initiate a conversation about in the Jumpgate forums.

I like them. What bothers me is that I don't think the Community icon changes when there are posts inside. I mean, when you're at the JSR main forums, you have to actually go into the Jumpgate or Tachyon or whatever forums to tell if there are new posts in there. Other than that, I think it would be groovy if the infest took up the whole Icon rather than the center. It looks kind of weird with a triangle being where a circle used to be....or something.

Oh, and I really despise the thing where I'm looking at the forum and occasionally there's text where the icons go that says "you have 3 messages posted in this thread" or whatever it says. It generally expands the height of the table and looks all funky...but it's not there now and I can't figure out how to make it appear...so maybe you already got rid of it, or maybe it's a fluke.

Or maybe it's just a glitch in your connection which causes the icon not to d/l so you get the alt="text" instead.
