Here's a little insight into how Themis trains new GM's:

GM_Bossman: Bob, Jumpgate's getting some new players. We'll need another 3 or 4 GM's to help cover their... <ahem>... needs. <chuckle> Make sure you adjust their billing accordingly.
GM_Bob: I'm on it....

Moments later, in GM_Bob's cubicle:

GM_Bob: Now let's see, which dart board shall I use today.... Greek Mythology? No, done that.... Feminine names for men? No, done that too... How about plant parts that can double as metaphors? Yea, that's a good one.
GM_Bob: <attaches said dart board to his "wall">
GM_Bob: Right, off we go.
GM_Bob: <throws dart at board, hits "thorn">

Then you guys gotta be talking on the main correct topic on the JOSSH forums.

I'm surprised that keeping topics to the main like "Plot and Events Discussion" was not enforced until now and I did see this coming.

Don't go screaming "a new GM taking authority!" or "themis are a bunch of losers!!" just because something like this happens. Because it's their job actually.

When GMs enforce rules like that, then theres gotta be a way to tell the new and the existing people a fansite like this one to talk on.

Whereas I agree that a board's topic should be enforced by the moderators, delegating general chat to third party sites only is complete BS imo. Whoever came up with this idea in the first place knows [insert expletive of your choice here] about community building.
