Newbie!!!

Greetings all,

I was drawn into Jumpgate by the Evolution coverage on MMORPG.com. Since Evolution still appears to be a long way off I'd like to give Jumpgate TRI a try. I've installed the client and flown around offline and I'm impressed with the feel of flight, so I think I might start my 10 day trial today or tomorrow (assuming I dont run into the billing system problems Ive heard about).

Its not the best time for me (I'm one week into a 10 week class that is taking up most of my free time) but I dont think my anxiety will allow me to wait.

Can some of you veterans give a newbie some guidance and maybe keep me company a little in game? Once I log in for the first time I'll have no clue whatsoever what I'm doing so it would be much appreciated! How do I talk in game again?

When you login hit "F5" then type "f5:chat", then hit "ENTER".
Then just hit "F5" and type away like a chatroom. Someone there will always help you.
