as far as i know they have been working on it ever since it went down....at least that is what i would hope

From Istvans post I got the feeling that their host shut it down because of bandwidth irregularities of unkown origin.

Usually, if a host shuts it down, there was some form of attack.

That doesn't put much confidence into the host, now does it?

Well, it's all speculation. Might just be a dying webserver.

But it would have nothing to do with the host quality. My host has shut down servers that were under attack, or had been compromised and where being used to initiate attacks. Under these circumstances, they use up all the bandwidth and slow down other sites and servers. That happening would not be a sign of a bad host, the response would reveal the quality of host. Shut down the problem and start temp banning the source IP's is standard procedure. I'm sure there are technical terms for all that but I am not into all that.
