You'll find more players on most decent Counter Strike servers. Maybe that just means that the sols are the smart ones who realized Netdevil decided the easiest way to put Jumpgate down was to slap it's name on a space flight version of WoW, so it doesn't look like they quit supporting it their unique and under-resourced project.

Thats why I said they should make it free until Jumpgate Evolution launch, get everyone back into the game and excitement only to have a MUCH MUCH cooler version coming out (when its done) in less than a year.

Best advertising they could do right there.

That's silly actually. Jumpgate is hard to learn. If they make it free a bunch of people will come try it out and get frustrated and quit. Then they'll have a negative association with the word Jumpgate and be less likely to play Jumpgate Evolution when it comes out.

Thats a good point, but I think people will understand and give the "real" game a chance, especially if we get some major online numbers and some really big battles happen again.

Maybe even make it "empowered player" for all the new accounts to encourage more PvP.

And it would really rock if the MT patch was released at the same time so they "system" works better with greater numbers.

Its a pipe dream, I know.
