Pirate Tags: The New HG

Today, as an experiment, I let a quant pirate tagged fellow down me to see what would happen to his PR. The answer: absolutely nothing. Furthermore, he was welcomed to dock at SC and any public POS in sol space, and reports that he could also dock at Oct public POS, and probably oct real stations too (oct and quant are hostile).

So, with the exception that civs can shoot you, pirate tags seem to function pretty much like the old HG tags did. This may or may not change with the next patch, but that's how it seems to be at the moment.

Also, previously there was a 1 PR decay every hour for every faction...that's probably the same.

Umm probly with next patch (factional warfare II) that will change.

Now this is interesting...Spacious...who already had a bounty, downed a mil in Quant space and was announced as having a bounty. He didn't seem to get much of a PR hit though...

I am waiting for the compressed "new system" description if anyone ever figures it out and tells us.

I mean how can I go insane and kill you all if I dont know?

You can do both, and accomplish neither, by trying the other.

Meh if you can't go HG, like me due to PR, Pirate FTW.

AFAIK U need a minimum of 50 local PR to be able to enter the Military.
