Problem with live Jumpgate info in your posbit

I believe that this function is no longer working. With so many pilot names in there now, JOSSH blinks before it can ever get done. JOSSH is a piece of crap, as far as the server/software setup, and can't handle much more than someone merely thinking of opening a page.

I am going to try running the scrip in smaller groups of pilot names at different times. It's not going to be a real time as I would like the info but at least it will be current.

aye my perl scripts for retrieving squad info all went to hell shortly after gents online watcher, I think it increased the traffic beyond the jossh doable thresh hold.

Jossh needs some work, its neglected, old and tired. And damn I miss the squad leaderboards at least the eu jossh worked and they had it updating every 3-6 mins.

Thats why I cringe when I see people release user parse apps. It's not right to have everyone that wishes to, parsing JOSSH at time intervals set at their own pleasure.

Same with slopeys app. It was better when it got it's data from user specific third party servers that paresed JOSSH, not end users.

This is all Netdevil's fault anyway for never supplying this info as xml. It's one of the easiest things to code and saves tons of resources for everyone.

I guess I'm glad it functions at all.
