Questions for Istvan regarding Jumpgate
I thought it would be fun to see what 3 questions everyone would ask Istvan if given the opportunity. Here are mine:
What was planned for "The Mil Patch part 2"? If Scorch gave you the opportunity to take 4 programmers back to Jumpgate and finish what you started after the release of Jumpgate Evolution, would you do it? What's the most important lesson you learned from your time working on Jumpgate? |

Ok, now, without the laughs ![]() I dont think Scorch would authorize the move of 4 programmers into Jumpgate Classic to finish off the MT system part 2. If I were to ask for something would be small changes that could take 1 or 2 hours at most, like unnerfing the tow (not gonna happen but.. one can only dream) and other small fixes to the production recipes (like barraks increase to say 4 or 8 per cycle). But as you ask, Id suggest not holding your breath... ELP |

Questions for ND...
These are the three questions I have for any ND employee.
1) Will Jumpgate Evolution have a significant coding force after launch? 2) Does ND plan to do another "episode 2" AKA Expansion Packs after release? 3) How significant of a role will the conflux play in Jumpgate Evolution? Just a nuisance or a threat? Add your own if you like, but please stay on topic. |

Will it be to the point that everyone on the server will have to work together against the flux, will it be a bunch of squad/faction PvP with only a couples squads needed to keep the flux at bay, or will they simply be a nuisance like they are now where people just dump the left over flux all the time. |

Sure it wasnt going to kill them, but because they are stuck doing something in the sector, they have to deal with the flux that I caused. Like just the other day I was attempting to chase down a sol who sent me home in a pod, and I had to clear 3 sectors on my way because of people trying to mine. I'd rather the flux just follow me or something |

I don't have questions for ND, just 4 requests for the current Jumpgate Classic.
1. Finish the MT patches or roll them back. What we have currently isn't good. If you can keep the MT mission system that would be wonderful, but you must increase the penalty for the civ rip while MT and restore the ability for multifactional squads to PvP without crushing losses of PR or bounties. 2. un-nerf the tows. Return them to their previous stats 3. do not penalize civ pilots for using a burglar/insight on a pirate. 4. do not abandon Jumpgate Classic just because you are working on Jumpgate Evolution. We are still paying customers and we deserve your attention for our loyalty as well as our dollars. |
