Should POS data contain the name of the owner?
Pretty cut and dry. I think it would fix a lot of issues.

I don't know whether this would really solve any problems. But it is without doubt a useful feature that should be comparatively easy to implement. Therefore I voted yes.

I am frequently mistaken but almost never indecisive or without an opinion on darn near anything. I voted "YES".
edit: I belive that when you choose "/publish" it should provide the name of the pilot owning the POS. You don't want to be known? Don't publish. Simple as that. |

I voted NO!!!!! There is no useful purpose for this but to grief a player out of the game. I would instead like players to see a log of pilots that docked at thier POS in the last 24 hours.
For those that say it is useful, you just want to grief someone or exploit the game. Also this log should only say who docked and not what they did. I can see it now.... I tell everyone that DE has been docking every night to buy my 1 mil each flashfires, so now they know where to hit them to prevent their restocking. I wish just one person would give me one legitimate reason for knowing who owns a POS. Well McPlowed could, he is dieing to know who owns the 4 McPlonalds POS's in space just so he can give them a credit for being funny. EDIT --- What issues would it fix Jump?? |
