So whats the best way to make money these days?

Coming back with about 110 million I thought I would be sitting pretty for awhile. However, with my generous nature and all, I've been helping out the little guys and those instigators are killing me.

I need to make some cash, but using the Jumpgate Weblister (or whatever its called
) It looks like hauling gold across the entire map for just under 2mil is about as good as it gets.

Go to C1095 in an ion nix. If your aim is good enough youll get lots of easy credits fairly quickly.

Also, some of the mil missions can turn a fair penny, if you don't mind a little jetsetting.

Mostly though, just accept that the modern Jumpgate world is build around the idea that whatever you do, you should make about 2mil/hr.

yes yes, of course there are a few things you can do for short durations that will make more money. And as always, luck plays into it. If you find a ton of great pures or a string of high dollar arties, that will increase the income for a short while.

Overall, it's designed to produce about 2 mil/hr, though.

Hopefully I'll get a new JS for christmas and I can get my aim back....the one I have now is total crap, thats why I figured I would just do some hauling for a bit.

net, don't forget harvesting biomass. It's worth 36,500c per unit, #2 in worth under Antimony in per unit value. I go out in a HM with a SB1 or better, a sz5 mining laser, insight, burglar and displacer. I pure and harvest squids. An hour's effort would probably match or exceed the 2mc/hr rate Tim quoted.

Hmm, perhaps if your online the same time as me you can show me how its done?

I found Jump's version of the web tracker, and it allows me to search the best route to all stations unlike the downloaded version I got somewhere else, so I'll probably do some hauling if I can't figure out the flux biomass thing

Yupo.. just watch that hauling-for-profit bit.. it can be rough on production sometimes.

And pures is your best bet for beating the average in terms of making money, but it's still a crapshoot. Adding in the biomass is a good idea, because it's light. Course, you loose a modx and a mining laser or two. decisions, decisions.
