How about make Jumpgate free and release the source code to the public and allow them to modify the game as they see fit.

OLRITE Net, I know it ain't going to be easy but most of the things I mentioned are GM_tool based and I had a tip that these can be used from OUTSIDE the offices of ND.

I'm prety sure we could ask one of the universally players to be empowered temporarily so he/she/it can implement the events.

Customer support employees are most likely not coders and can prolly pitch in a few hours to get the old accounts alive for a couple weeks or so.

I think the mere implementation of events and calling peeõple back to the game will atract a lot of atention AND desire for Jumpgate Evolution which has to be a goal for ND.

On a personal note, I'm not one to throw anything but lasers, pellets and missles at people. I was asked by a RL friend why in hell i was geting involved in a kids discussion and my answer was very close to Net's: I need more people paying atention to build critical mass for this "petition". On the other hand this is Jump's hangout and he asked to put a stop to it so we did.

The new bounty system has almost entirely remove f*ucheadedness from the game. That is one very good improvement the patch in question brought to thew game.
