Well, I know most of you don't know me yet (and I don't think anybody remembers me from before) but I was a mid-level player in 2003 in U.Z.I. who has just resubbed under this name. I was just thinking about Jumpgate, and wanted to post a bit...
First of all, I'm not playing all the time because my wife and I just bought a new place and curtains come before internet when it comes to limited budget, so right now my comp is set up at my parents' place where they've got the cable action going on...
For the last four days I've been in Dallas working in an $85,000 flight simulator... I just want to say good grief I'm tired... there is a big difference between something like Jumpgate and a pro simulator (FAA loggable time) but Jumpgate is much more fun!... pro simulators are all the work of actual flight with none of the reward...
Just wondering if anybody else has real life flight experience, and also to see if anybody has any experience slogging it out hour after hour with an instructor in a full-size sim (not full-motion in this case, it was a light-twin simulator.. specifically Piper Seminole PA44-180, Garmin 430 equipped)...
My brain is like jelly.. it is so draining.. I'm glad we made it back. I can't even get myself to login to Jumpgate now hah... sorry for the random post ... just wanted to share a slice of my RL heh..
