Ugh

I just stopped in one of the new POS that showed up in Aman Gate for a docking computer. What I saw there made me log out and at the moment I don't particularly want to log back in. The place was better stocked than QC. If this is how Jumpgate is going to be now, you folks can have it.

Cool, whoever owns that pos must have worked hard dragging all that gear down to Aman, specially considering the threats posed travelling through unreg to get there, possible swarm dumps, uninsured kit if petalling/roiding, pirates, stat-padders, shield-storms and rogue flux etc etc.

A pos better stocked then QC you say ?

Kudos to them i say

My POS is better stocked than QC, too . . . it doesn't take much. Why is that a bad thing (provided the gear was not stripped)?

LOL. Make 20 instigators then tell me what working hard is.

Because I'd like to PvP some and I'm not going to pay some stripper's ridiculous prices to re-equip. I'd also like to help the econ some, but people like this guy will 'work hard' taking the gear from the station. One thing in Jumpgate remains constant, if you can't beat em, join em or leave.

How do you know he stripped the gear?

Taking all the guzzlers from OP without dropping stuff off to produce more results in the same 0 guzzlers across the universe as taking them from QC. The point is, it's impossible to produce to match consumption, therefore it's impossible to produce enough to fill up "resellers" stations.

If I bother to fuelscoop helium or what have you to make instigs or something (at a whopping 1 per cycle) some 'hard worker' like this will just come snatch them. If I wanted to buy gear from POS at inflated prices I would have been playing on EU a long time ago. For now best bet is to troll the forums and hope Istvan does something that will allow us to produce enough gear so that it's available at TRI stations (i mean at the ones it's produced at btw). POS-gate isn't the game I want to play.

*agrees with zaz*

I died and I don't have a POS which to re-equip, its been 2 days and im still not equipped because Oct has no well stocked POS's where I can get the equip i need. So I get frustrated and log.

Wish the POS wasnt in aman and in oct.

Well, first pls excuse my bad english. I hope you will understand, what i want to say.

Since i came hier on these server, i can`t play the game like i played it for a long time on EU. But thats ok, i came with a lot of motivation. After 2 weeks of duration-mining and for example 5h for prodding a handfull missiles my motivation is near the ground.

Our Squad have alone 34 member and they are not the only Octs. If you want them all to equip on Outpost you must have there a lot of equip. Thats a mission impossible.

So we try to make our own equip. Our Fighters are also mining and producing to have a little bit fun with PvP.

If you say that all of EU Players were stripping so i mean this a sweeping-judgement. Most of them working hard for their equip, very hard. 2 our members were civ-killed im Heavy Miner without PoD or any foreword in regulated space.

Duration-mining and the lot of h i have to produce something is also the way i donīt like to play this game. But i donīt wanna give up and have to handle it this way....

Fine Grim, demolish all pos, make it like it was pre-ep2 where we all home at core station etc. What do you think that will achieve exactly ?
Lets take OA as an example, seeings as Admiral Scharena has posted here stating they have 34 members and ask 'how will they kit their fleet'

34 members relying solely on kit they work to produce on OP ? i dont think so mate, it will be the same as it was pre-EP2 where for every 3 pilots that fly there will be a kit tow or freigher docked on station ready to log in and resupply the pilots. Either way, be it POS or kit-tows, pilots and squads will still be in the same position where they have to restock using the same methods available currently, and worse still, if people have to pay for seperate accounts just to secure any kit they make rather than chance it being taken for someone elses storage they will just get pissed off some more.

You already have the answer anyway, hope Istvan reads whatever boards and suggestions and tweaks commod/production levels to reflect the larger player-base, saving the constant bitching by everyone on both sides of this rather tedious rekitting arguement.

Every1 acts like pre ep2 thier were these great stocks on station. I wasn't here from Retail-ep2, but i was beta tester for US, and EU, and i've seen fleets of phoons with sports, sheps, vtc1 and bullseyes equiped, and whatever laser i could find because thiers no spit. Yeah you might not have the best kits but you still equip your ship and get out thier, i've flown a "ghetto" phoon more than i'd like to but i still had fun and still had kills. Actually some of the greatest battles i've been involved in is when no1 has FF's, and "ghetto" equipment.

Now lets talk about when ever i returned after my long vacation from beta. Like in beta i had no POS, any equipment i needed i had to find on a station or in a POS (after i found the greatest tool ever JGROT) and this time i didn't have 11 mules to have at every station. I really enjoyed playing and everytime i died i rarely had to leave the station to get equip (except the occasional FF). This was amazing, and awesome for noobs. I would love to see this agn, as it currently stand everyone in the battle fleets are respawning in complete diffrent location, it was great whenever you went down that you new in a minute or two most would be returning to the station, reequiping and launching out agn.

In beta i've seen stock low (its getting really bad now at TRI station tier 2/3 commods are non existent) and eventually the economy jumps back from it, everyone must realize that all the accounts from EU came over with Tons of credits, and complete empty POS's, and what did they do next??????? The filled them up empting current stocks.

At the state now thier seems to be no jumping back so i recommend we need a change to the economy, i dont know what that would be.
