Re: warcry scott brown interview
Did I hear someone say RP Forums and Alpha in the same post??? I'd be overjoyed to see the old RP environment from the old days of PJG and Jossh return once more.

Hey Milk! No, I got out of that job. I work at NASA - Kennedy Space Center now. Much cooler job. I have quite a few projects, but one of them is currently working with real moon dirt collected from the Apollo 14 mission. And my wife, who also works here, is working on some experiments that might go to the moon on a future rover mission. I'd say that's a notch up on the food chain.

Re: warcry scott brown interview
Haha... Im a Network Admin currently.... and likely wouldn't qualify for crap at NASA. I have plenty of experience at fixing PCs, servers, networks, some coding.. but no degree (slowly working on that) and no certs (employer wouldn't give more for certs so why bother testing). Since my dreams of wanting to work at NASA with a CS or CE degree i dropped out to earn money "now" building webpages/sites and got married. Damn impatient kids... I have grown up a bit since then and actually picked a new direction in life other than no direction. Im still married we have a 8 month old daughter and im in process of getting a long term plan for getting a 4year degree via corespondence/internet. I bought a nice house/yard with room to raise a family in a small town on a nice quiet street.
BUT.. part of me still wants to participate in something like NASA and be apart of something big and meaningful. Which is where the "in 20 years" comes from. ![]() BUT now we are WAY off topic and im sorry for that. Anyone have anything else new about jumpgate developments? |
