Is not totally wrong. People here dont log in because 'x' pilot is not online, and as such, nobody does it because 'x' is also waiting for 'y' to be online. Probably not 200, but Im sure we could have 75-100.

The squad leader factor is very important, as so are the key PvPers and such. People enjoy being around this or that person.

Humm, suggestion for ND... put some bots in Live, with names like "Karash" and others :P see how many folks get in to see if its true or not lol.

At this point Jumpgate is simply nostalgic to most of us old timers. Heck, I think I have like 13,000 hours in that game. I would want to log on for some last looks but there is nothing there that I have not done a zillion times already.

It was one thing when logging on meant keeping the game alive for hope of a better day. But my friends, that better day has come and there is hope of something new and intriguing, yet the same. There are tons of games out there and so little time. I'm a gamer, I game for fun not duty. It's really not a crime if the current incarnation of Jumpgate is not fun for you any more.

The battle has been won people, Jumpgate is being remade, time to relax about this issue. IMO

I'm with you, these days I play for fun, in much shorter periods of time. That is why CS:S is the game for me right now.

And I truly hope my preferred gaming style will fit in somehow into the Jumpgate Evolution universe, I really hope there is a way for me to log in, have a few great fights and log out. in Jumpgate Classic that was not really possible due to the leveling (which I can go ahead and do slowely, but I better not have to relevel due to deaths loosing XP like suggested), and huge money losses. I simply don't have time time to do all the "chores" that were required in Jumpgate Classic

I used to be so against this kind of thinking when it came to Jumpgate, hell even pointed it out to a few people around here.

Then it hit me and Jumpgate was so intermingled with my RL ( being off work due to my health didn’t help ) and I thought sh** get out while the going is good. Still pop in from time to time but too busy playing ohh the 100 odd games that have slipped me by in the years where Jumpgate had me by the balls.
