Dont poo poo on my list.
I just answered the question that was posed. There are bunch of sites saying that Jumpgate is going to get a "radical" overhaul by ND. If thats so, a lot of those things I mention could actually make it. If, it did, I would be back in an instant... but, if they mean "radical" as EP2 was to EP1, then I will never come back. |

So, CAN YOU PLEASE BE A LITTLE MORE ENCOURAGING! Honestly, 1 more anti climatic posting from you, 1 more sizzling bonfire under the stream of your wordy mictuation and people are going to give up on Jumpgate forever. Like I said in a prev post, in the absence of facts, people are going to speculate on what ND's intent is with Jumpgate. The answer to this is for some facts to be given and not for "Ambrosius Dark Lord of the Pessimists" to come rip out the hope from peoples postings. |

I said it was a nice list. I liked 90% of your suggestions, though there are many that would absolutely hate some of them (like enforced factionalism and removal of "personal" stations). I'd like to see the squad be a determinant of politics so that a Quant (for instance) in a factionalist squad does have that aspect of RP strongly rewarded while a Quant in a "Mining Guild" squad would not have to deal with the stronger political tides. But my guess is that in the short term Jumpgate will get a facelift (Scorch's stated graphics and AI updates), and hopefully a boost in advertising and support (for future improvement). |

@vorlon31: the only thing I know is that Ist said he could not give me anything yet for DsD publication. The little bit I did know is basically what Scorch released.
While Istvan does use DsD as a vehicle for communication, I doubt very much if it would be the vehicle for any "big announcement" by NetDevil (nor do I think it should). Hopefully we'll all learn more Soon(tm). ![]() |
