I just realized I haven't posted here yet.

Typhoon. Very pretty, although it's low rez model was a bit chunky for awhile. I just love how flexible it is. You can duel a nix, you can fleet fight tensies, kill flux, uh, mine and all that other good stuff.

You'll lose to a nix in a 1v1 and to a tens in a fleet fight against equal pilots, but it always gave you a chance. You can just cruise around browsing for a fight, whereas in another ship you'd be asking for trouble. A nix can't escape, and a lone tens can't beat anything anyway. Typhoon? It can either fight and maybe win or run and probably get away.

I still think it's a bit like a Mace out of Hackyon, which was a similarly weird ship.

I always liked the Nix. It was sort of a ball and chain...you didnt have a lot of options with the bird, but you knew you would make someone pay dearly if they slipped up. Ammo Nixes in larger formations were pretty fun.

Are you trying to suggest I ever fired guns? Or for that matter pointed my ship at the enemy?

b) need no energy to use

a) also need no energy to use

'Nix, only ship you could take on 2 and 3 targets and come out on top. Granted it took a little creativity.. but I could never do that in any other ship. Intensity came close but you never fight quite as hard when you know you can just FF away.

Tensy this is a nice Teamship, u can attack multiple targets by shooting down shields very fast , and then let your laser equiped teammates finnish off the rest (chasing targets with novablast would be very ennoying)and takes to much time&ff recources)

I disagree, the Quant Bomber (nado) could take on multiple targets and kill them all, especially Nix because the nix was too slow to keep up with the 6 FFs.

but I used to kill Radi in quant bomber and whoever else he was with all the time.. they never seemed to be able to avoid Lances.. silly Quants. And only an idiot gets killed by Feather Fire or Ammo.

4 FFs are nothing to laugh at, they could easily kill a Nix hit for hit first.

Hit for hit is a pretty big assumption.. I would assume (hope) that the 'nix knows how to do at least a half assed circle or maybe an oval of sorts..
