Darn it Vorlon! You tease dogs long enough and one will bite you. If you irritate folks with the ability to hurt you long enough, they WILL HURT YOU. IC/OOC. RS/RL. Don't matter if they are OV or balrog or The Brotherhood or SOlidarity or Suicidal or whoever.

I'm proud you disbanded to save your non-combat pilots, but you should have stepped aside at the start of your RP. More than a dozen of us told you at various times but your response was "it's all fun".

For some folks, what's said in the forum or here is treated pretty much as being said in game. Very few folks here or elsewhere can entirely eliminate how they feel from how they act. Not really sure it's healthy to actually try.

I'm sorry you got your feelings hurt but I must say you brought it on yourself. Exactly as I did with balrog. Main difference is the only folks I pissed off were in that squad. You spread yours to the whole server. When you've got folks like McP, Nohbody, Elpirata and even Ambro telling you to stop, you should have listened.

I guess that im just robbing other people of the oppertunity to destroy any reputation or standing I may or may not of had on the server by doing it myself.

I spent a long time building the character and what he stood for and tried numerouse times over the years to make an effort in this game. And for what? I built a squad based on ideals that no-one outside of it shared, that meant it was always vulnarable to attack, to ridicule and to people smak talking it. When ever I so much as squeezed my trigger at another ship all I ever heard was "Now I shoot your friends".. I built a squad to be easy prey because its ideals were less blood thirsty than everyone elses.

Well, I have no squad in Jumpgate now, no IC friends and no wingmen to worry about. I have only me.

Ive been told "You know where the door is." already on f3 but I dont think ill be looking for it. Its ironic though IF I were to log in now and do to others, exactly what they have done to me - they act like im the lame one?

They need to remember that it was they who set the standard, Im just lowering myself to it.

I've been nothing but helpful to you in the past vorlon31. Infact as a squad I've stuck my neck out for FC on numerous occasions.
You claim to have disbanded your squad to reduce the possibility of the rest being taken down. I'm willing to bet that you and you solely were the only FC likely to get shot. I'm surprised you didn't notice this, as recently everything has been about you.
It's up to you where you go from here. Two intentional disconnects in two days is not a good start though............

Regards
Al

I cannot remember anything having been said about removing or even crippling flux; AFAIK work on the Conflux AI is still somewhere on Istvan's agenda.

What bothers me more is that although the first conflict patch implemented a lot of useful and reasonable stuff, there was no "official" RP that utilitized the new possibilities.

I understand that ND/Themis don't have nearly as many GM staff available as we had on EU, but thinking of the opportunities that are thus wasted really makes me want to scream out loud and hit something!

It's not that we didn't have as many GMs as the EU. It's that we had NO storyline GMs, not even 1 GM for like 3-4 months, which happened to overlap the patch.

Though the splash screen when you log in did have a micro-RP blurb, this patch was what GM_K had been building up some story to for months and from several angles. It was just a shame that Themis went AWOL for so long at such a critical point in Jumpgate.

Jumpgate suffers from chronic bad timing.
