Why did they not just have the signup on JOSSH?

Dunno -- other than the fact that there's really no "appropriate" place on JOSSH with General Chat gone. I thought it was odd -- but I can't see the point in getting worked up about it.

As far as being no place on JOSSH. Well, posting a thread about the thread on another site is basically the same as having the actual signup thread on JOSSH. There are some peeps that refuse to have anything to do with JGW as there are those that refuse to have anything to do with JSR. For whatever reasons we won't get into. It makes it tough when someone wants to make an event for all but not post for all or make the signup available for all. *shrugs*

It was posted off the JOSSH site so that TRI-C's could sign up. As for not going to JGW because of Lilith, really GG, that's a pretty weak reason. Especially when there are plenty of really good reasons to not go there. You need to lighten up and stop letting others indirectly control your actions.

I think he has other reasons as well. Really, that's his business though. People have a right to go where they please. Some are still upset at the way Themis pretty much told people where to go.

GG vowed never to go there and from what I have learned about him, he will not deviate from that. He's a pretty resolute character. *shrugs*

Resolute he is. I just don't want this to lead to him going on hiatus again, especially over something that no longer has anything to do with why we all "know" each other: Jumpgate.

I respect your principled nature GrimGriz. You are tenacious almost to a fault (some may argue more ) But sometimes you fight the right fights at the wrong time. Don't let a trivial matter, such as where the WoW signup is posted, keep you from doing something that you know you want to do (the WoW). It's not like they were posted on JGW BECAUSE of Lilith. It was done because it was perceived that more people pass through that site than any other JumpGate site, especially past Jumpgate PvP'ers that may be TRI-C.

Really Grim, don't get worked up over this. I REALLY don't want to see you leave again. And I think you are extremely valuable to have in the WoW. It's that whole tenacity thing you've got going. Invaluable, especially when the team you're on is feeling like they're fighting a losing fight.

Yeah, but I noticed it only really works right in the quick reply. I'll have to look into that. It works perfectly at OG.

I would have thought that having sign-ups on the JOSSH forums would encourage TRI-C to reactivate to sign up

It's never been a problem before. All the other sign ups have been on JOSSH and TRI-C's have gotten signed up. *shrugs*
