Just heard back from my New Dawn contact who gave me this link.
![]() The pilot here claimed to have hit BH_1 several times as he FFed up on him, thus the break in the previously steady stream of nova shots, yet the shields of BH_1 show just a tad over 1 nova hit. *shrug* Basically what we've learned here is that Nelson does not pay for sex. ![]() |

Had 'The pilot here' not heard of lag? That was another fatal flaw of PoGBS (unless I mentioned it already), some were on horribe dial up connections (not me mind you). Again, I was one, and to my knowledge the only PoGBS with equip that would fit on a normal ship was GM_Mothers PoGBS (which may have been BH_1, but I think that was just a dialup guy).

*shrug* I already speculated that it was LJ style lag earlier. I'm sure the ND guy wasn't a pvp vet either (i.e. use of novas in pvp), so I do take his interpretation of the events with a grain of salt. Pretty cool screen shot regardless. Like I said, the only thing we can know for sure is Nelson's claim.
That and if you plan to create an RPC squad that will get shot at by everyone on the server in massive gank fleets, should probably use only cable/DSL equipped pilots. But anyway, like Seph and I said...the real tragedy here is that instead of learning from the PoGBS mistakes and following through with the RPC squad idea (which was a really good idea), ND totally closed the door on all forms of it, so the most RPC pilots we can have in space is equal to the number of GMs willing to fly. (I think 4 or 5 is the most I've ever seen, though no more than 2 in the past year, IIRC.) |
