Filzi_ was banned from EU because suspicions of cheating. But he proved here, in the US server, that he played within the rules. Im not saying the folks in EU are liars, but both Mab and Filzi were given a chance here and so far.. they are looking good.

Filzi was basically accused of using an aimbot. They'd probably say the same thing about Liet. It appears to me that he's just good -- and seems to be a nice guy . . . at least on TS.

Liet has never been accused of using 4 FFs in a nix and still having incredible ammo aim and killing people from 8k all at the same time (while having a tough time killing conflux). That appears to me to be the accusation the EU GMs made toward Filzi. Whether or not the accusations are true, *shrug* who knows... I sure don't claim to know one way or the other.

Darn it Spork! I just spent an hour or better reading all the stupid posts/links and all I got from it was 1) EU is pretty sure he used an untraceable cheat and 2) EU's GMs talk to folks way more (and more of them!) than US GMs do and finally 3) he's got 3500 hours in EU? My god no wonder he made opti in 200 hours! In three and a half years I've just barely gotten 2000 hours and 4 kills/ 271 deaths. And getting to play 13 hours a day? Sounds like heaven to me! And as a student, I'm guessing he's also young and has good reflexes to go with it.

Bottom line: With no solid proof of cheating I'm willing to give Filzi_ and Mashaba or any other Unbreakables they bring over an honest chance. My encounters with them have been as I mentioned before and I have no current problem with them (this could change depending on how often I get P.O.D'd or given a pod ride). I'm prepared to be envious and jealous of his skills and abilities, but that's no big deal as I nearly always fly with and or against pilots who are more skilled (and probably younger and better looking as well) than I am.

And Filzi_, if you are reading this, take it as a fair warning: If you DID cheat there, don't do it here. The US server cannot afford to have pilots run out of the game either from cheating or from being griefed out, othewise welcome to the US server!

PS: Filzi_ I still say it takes more skill to do it with an insight/burglar than a simple P.O.D. Mugging is effective but totally lame RP IMO.
