Can you not just shot each other anyway? or do you get a penalty for shotting each other even in MT tags if your factions are at peace ?

Reece, where I come from "lifting the hat" is a salute or greeting, usually from a man to a woman (aka "tipping a hat"). It can be a greeting between men, but usually only at a distance not suitible for shaking hands (like across the room). Rest assured if I "lift the hat" to you, it will not be an act of contempt or dismissal, but a symbol of respect.
