I just want to say thanks to all the folks who took time to remember Rock.

Without trying to pull on some heart strings some of us over at AQM would like to find a way to honor him in the game he loved. A ship, a station, something Quantar that could named after him. I don't know if ND would be willing, but I know we would appreciate it.

Rockdoctor would be a great name for a mining ship or a mining tool. Or even a big hospital built in a rock.

He was a geologist and IIRC had a PhD, hence the Rock and hence the Doctor. Rockdoc for short.

I miss Rock giving orders on Teamspeak with dial-up and his mic 6" down his throat. It always cracked me up when you'd hear, "Okay guys, go to sector ***** **** ***** **********, then ****** 8************** *******, got that?" I'd say, "Yeah, sure." then just follow him.

I remember Rockdoctor well, i remember the fun i had with him in Jumpgate, i remember chasing him for what felt like days right into an ambush, i remember the jokes, i remember the laughs and the frustration of seeing him get away to live another day,

But most of all, i remember a little hint of the man behind the character, a man with courage, integrity and a man of principle, this is what i fondly remember about him, one that made me smile as learn to relax and realise its just a game, in spite of all the abuse he took from nasty messages, often insulting and degrading, he seemed to remain above it all, that is a mark of a great man in my book, even though we were on opposite sides and it was my job to inspire hatred towards him and his crew on the battlefield.

I am truely sorry to hear what happened to Rock. I to remember him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his lovely lady and his kids. He will be Sorely missed by all.

I am not sure if there was anyone who did not know who Rockdoctor was.

I have encountered him several times. Always a class act.

Jumpgate was my first online family. I fought with and against several and always had fun.

Its sad to hear when people pass. Like has been said, he will be missed.
