Bag phones? Most of them won't work anymore, they were analog phones. Motorola does make this bag phone

Thing about them that was nice is that they were allowed to transmit up to 5 watts while hand sets you put to your head were limited to half a watt. I'm not sure what the newest regulations are for digital phones, but I know the handsets are still more limited in power since they're so close to your thinking organ.

i recently got a free ipod touch which i traded in for an iphone. i love it. it's my precious.

if only i could drag+drop music on it, then it'd be perfect. itunes is horrible.

I got one of them LG Dare things just for the camera. I went into the phone store and asked "what's your best camera." I can't be arsed to pay verizon's ridiculous data fees ... especially since I'm in front of a computer about 16 hours a day

I have been debating about the Dare. I just hate the concept of having to pay for a phone (it will cost me $99). It was my impression that the flat monthly "data" charge for the Dare was $15 -- which is less than the fee for the SmartPhones. I thought that was a lot cheaper than the iPhone additional service costs.

Rumor has it that Apple is going to unlock the iPhone next year and Verizon will have it. So far things are good with AT@T and the 3G is nice. The Dare seemed to have a more sluggish screen compared to the iPhone. Plus the proprietary apps were a turn off.

I got me a $200 iTunes card for $80 on eBay yesterday so I have lot's of new apps to play with.

About a year ago i replaced my old dirty broken razr with a shiny new blue one. I dont need to check my Email while Im driving to work, so whats the point in spending millions of dollars to get it?

That's a valid point for many people. However, I am on the road all the time so it's nice to have something convenient to stay connected. That's why they make phones for all needs I guess.

Unless Verizon goes with HPSA we won't be able to use the iPhone on it. Last time I looked Verizon uses CMDA and EV-DO for their radio packets.
