I'd agree with a couple on here. Sandbox content never stays in the sandbox - and it usually kills the forum, at some point.

Sandbox content is sandbox content. First of all, it's a voluntary step that registrants have to make in order to even see the forum. Second, it's minimal moderation, not an open invitation to create animosity. This means you get the privilege only as long as you demonstrate the ability to handle it. Those that prove otherwise are denied access there.

I doubt Netdevil is going to provide a squad silo or sandbox forum worthy of the name, and past experience has shown us that a lack of such a forum won't stop people from posting what's on their minds. Past experience has also shown us what that particular aspect of Jumpgate, coupled with an overzealous Netdevil moderator, can do to the community.

And by that you mean populate a fan site that turns into a hate site? If the whiney biznatches that threw a hissy fit over not being allowed to curse on F5 are what you consider "the community," the community is an embarassment to the game. (IMO)

Too much like a boys own club for them that feel the need to be in something elitist within an open community.

Squad own forums I can understand with invites and the like, but a place to go and spout off? I have to ask why? What’s the point? , but hey if anyone feels the need to be in a invite only section of a site that is as I see it delivering a good service and covering all sorts of topics that hold my interest from gaming to funny wedding dance videos, who am I to stand in their way.

Needless to say you wont be seeing me in there.

Or I have I missed something this being posted after only one coffee?
