I am not a forum-aholic (until jumpgate (though i did use a couple forums rarely for FFXI))... what is forum trolling? is that like the fishing technique or what?

Trolling generally implies bad stuff. Like making flamebait posts for the sole purpose of angering people.

Actually I always thought it was the fishing term. Cruising along in the boat with your baited line dangling out of the back. For me personally, it's a verb that means reading every single new post on the forums I frequent, and replying where necessary.
