Well, it's getting down to the wire. I'm going to half to make the decision to make some cutbacks. I'm going to have to downsize.

I think I'm goint to be moving to a different server (same host) in another data center. It's not the quality bandwidth we get at Internap but it's cheaper. We'll probably see some degradation in quality but such is life.

After talking to the big cheese at our webhosting company, things look good for the coming year. They are going to be coming up with new plans on a BGP network and I will probably be going for that. We should actually get more memory, the same CPU and much more monthly bandwith, at a cheaper price. But it won't be Internap bandwith which is the most desirable. We'll loose a lot of burstable bandwidth though. Yet being BGP, it will be better than their current alternative and should actually speed things up a bit. But it still costs $$$$ so keep the donations coming.

I dread the move though. That's always a lot of work and some downtime.

Sorry about the downtime last night. Our server went into grace period last night since we didn't pay the bill. For some reason it shut us down. All back up now, albeit temporarily. Waiting on those new server plans.

Looks like we are getting our first check from google. It's taken a year to get up to the payoff minimum. The site says they sent a check on the 25th for $139.35. So that will help. Clicks have gone way down again. I'm sure it's because we get so few new adds. I'm not sure why.

Anyway, keep visiting our sponsors and maybe it won't take a year to get a check this time.

I still need donations for the server fee's. Also, my Vbulletin lease runs out in 4 weeks and I need $160 to puchase a permanent license.

I've been clicking as I remember but I can only read about the Air Combat Xperience only so many times.
I just changed my bookmark from the forum to the home page to increase the chances of me clicking on something before I start looking for new posts.

yay! I got the check from google. Now we are about half way to the projected goal. Of course, we are a couple weeks overdue on the bill.

Thanks, for that and the other I got from another this week. That brings us up to about $400. I'm not sure what the new rates are going to be with the new plans yet. But based on the old and the other current cheaper plans, and the new ones being somewhere in between. We should be at about 70-75% there.

Anyway, hopefully I will hear from the host soon about the new plans. I need to get this over with. They are waiting because they applied for their own ARIN IP block. Projection is another two weeks. I'm presuming that means we will have to go through an IP change. which of course means scattered service for a day or two.
