Well one of my favorite blogging areas is closing it's doors on Jan 31st. Gossip has decided to move on from the system.

Nope decided not to persue that option. He changed jobs and lost motivation.

If it's an optional thing and it brings you no joy, be done with it. It is, and it doesn't, from the tone of the majority of your postings. As always, I frequent it and attempt to discuss things inside and outside the bounds of joystick games.

Sounds like Jumpgate but TBO i only go into FC forum on a reg basis now and Jumpgate less here even less nothign to do with the site or anything but not much going on in Jumpgate to talk about or at least anything worth talking about

JSR Tools are better than PJG.....

Thing with gossip, from what I know, its always his job and not precisely something he loves doing. He said he did PJG because his boss told him to and if I remember well, he said he didnt enjoy it much. The day he decides to do something because he wants to, and desires to and loves it.... perhaps he will last longer.

I miss PJG, as many of us do. But up to this day, in a way, I prefer JSR.

I like this place. You've been a good host to my story, a place i could post to whether i was active or TRI-C. Though, one story shouldn't make you stay open if you don't wish to. (Next post in that should be coming tonight fyi)

Ive deleted the link to this forum from my favorites about 6 times but always after a few days I pop back to see whats happening and re-add it (even when nothing has happened).

Im not sure why I do either, I only look at the forum and get wound up by 30 search delays I have never even used the tools properly, other than to look and see what they do but it is another place to troll I suppose(which I do more when Jumpgate's appeal is a little lost for me).

Edit: I just remembered why I keep deleting this forums lin in my shortcuts... the bloomin blank page error440's and the 30 second search delay double acts.

I don't know why you are having these problems as I never have any issues with this site. I am here everyday trolling but not posting.

Hi, I just found this and thought I'd chime in, especially since you're talking about me.

Playing Jumpgate was a hobby back then, and so was running PJG. I never set it up for profit or as a job, I handled the site and community work in my spare time for fun.

I thoroughly enjoyed doing it; it's just that after two years or so it became more of a job due to the sheer size of the project and the amount of work. Around that time I felt a Jumpgate burnout -- too much Jumpgate in my life, I didn't get to play anymore, and at some point the site itself had become the "game" for me.

So I decided to move on. PJG was online for two years, and two good years it were. No man in his right mind would run a site for two years in his spare time if he didn't at least like it.

So there.
