Hello people

How ya doin?

I think I'm getting older, because I sorta like adult contemporary now. I mean, I still like good music too...but if some of that other stuff comes on...I don't necessarily change it. I also think some of my mpThrees might be considered adult contemporary.

Other than crap, what do they call adult contemporary a few years down the road...or is a few years still considered contemporary?

I'm doing good, thanks for asking.

I like Cottrell's Old Yankee Ale.

As to your music question, who cares what the kids will be calling it in a few years. It's not like anyone else's opinion matters

At least for mail-order beer, it depends on the state, but more often than not the answer is "no". For transfers between two individuals I have no idea, though I suspect that while USPS may not do so, the private shipping companies (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc) will.

Same thing goes for Sweden. That is kinda sad, as it breaks down the meaning of "free trading" within the European Union.

How to leave the Planet:

1. Phone NASA. Their phone number is (731) 483-3111. Explain that it's very important that you get away as soon as possible.

2. If they do not cooperate, phone any friend you may have in the White House - (202) 456-1414 - to have a word on your behalf with the guys at NASA.

3. If you don't have any friends at the White House, phone the Kremlin (ask the overseas operator for 0107-095-295-9051). They don't have any friends there either (at least, none to speak of), but they do seem to have a little influence, so you may as well try.

4. If that also fails, phone the Pope for guidance. His telephone number is 011-39-6-6982, and I gather his switchboard is infailible.

5. If all these attempts fail, flag down a passing flying saucer and explain that it's vitally important you get away before your phone bill arrives.

Which, of course, is three or more years overkill, for pretty much every country outside the US.

(I think it's stupid, too, for the record. You can vote and potentially die for your country, but can't legally drink for another 3 years? )

Sweden:
Drive: 18 (Same goes for MC, but that depends on CC on it. Smallest are 16, 125cc.)
Drink: Pubs are 18, but you have to be 20 to buy it from the special store and bring it home.
Vote: 18
Military: 18
At 16 your adult on a hospital.
At 16 you have to stand for what you do and may go to jail/prison if you break the law.
At 16 you can get married and leave home if your parents agree and sign some papers.
15 for sex.

Hmmm... trying to figure out more.
