Help I'm a noob!

What do you do when you have something you want to resize, but it's like SO invisible you can't see it to resize it when you hit restore? I have a proggie atm that I can only use maximized coz i can't find it when I hit restore...

Increase the resolution on your desktop so the window becomes smaller (relatively).

Then hit restore and resize.

Is that what you mean?

No, but if this ever happens to you:
Hit restore to where you can't see the thing, right click on it's thing in the taskbar and click move or size. Then, whilst leaving the mouse alone, fidget with the arrow keys until you can see it, and then press enter.
