How to reset unread threads
When I do a search for new posts I get a huge list of "unread" threads. Does anyone know a quick way to reset the "unread" flag so I can get rid of that list without having to click on each thread? I'd like to save Jump the bandwidth and me the sanity.

Re: How to reset unread threads
At the bottom of the forum home page (not the sites front page) there is a link to mark all read. It's at the bottom of the "what's going on box." In the "quick links" link above, next to the devtracker, there is a drop down list and one of the items is "mark all read". Also, when looking at a list of forums you can double click the forum icon to mark that forum only. This is standard for vBulletin 3.6x and above. Except for the popup warning to keep you from marking them by accident. I wrote that part. Well actually, I wrote the mark all read by AJAX part some time before vBulletin and then they suddenly added there own. Happens a lot with my mods it seems.
But that should do the trick for you. |

Re: How to reset unread threads
You must read EVERY thread, skipping threads is not allowed
